Timothy Finnen

Founder & Creative Director

A love of ancient art and architecture inspires Tim’s award-winning designs, where he recognizes that all works of art, whether ancient or modern, are born of great vision and painstaking detail. As an overseer of LTD’s creative direction and client management, Tim is committed to both the big picture as well as  “sweating the small stuff”—lessons learned not only through his 20+ years as a designer but also from the countless trips to the hardware store that he made while restoring his 19th century farmhouse.

Alter Ego: Art Maniac. Caution: Tim can become an art maniac at any moment! His passions for painting, sculpture to photography though, will keep him sane. Bob Ross may have sported his trademark afro, but Tim’s beard can be just as fuzzy!

Louanne Welgoss

Founder & Creative Director

As a skilled graphic designer and artist, Louanne brings a love of all things visual to her role as co-founder of LTD Creative. When not busy overseeing project management and magazine design, she is coralling her oversized Bernese Mountain Dog, Moose. The next time you pass a group of die-hard road cyclists, there’s a good chance Louanne may be amid the ‘pack,’ whether taking on Frederick County’s country roads or challenging herself on an eastern shore century ride.

Alter Ego: Dog Whisperer. Even though Moose comes to work occassionally, she has to go home with someone and that is our resident dog whisperer, Louanne. You’ll frequently find her around downtown frederick muttering phrases like “no bite”, “stop it”, “get down”,  or “do I have to trade you in?” Cesar Milan has nothing on her.

Lauren Noll

Senior Designer

Lauren is a gifted artist and true creative soul whose talents are easily revealed through her brand image development and marketing communications for LTD. When not pursuing her passion for drawing and painting, Lauren likes to spend her free time exploring new music, and cheering on her alma mater, the East Carolina Pirates. With a piece of her still left in North Carolina, Lauren dreams of lazy days on the beach in the Outer Banks with her rescue pit bull, Rizzo.

Alter Ego: Music Junkie. Lauren can be seen 9 times out of 10 with headphones in her ears, whether sitting at her desk or walking around downtown. Lauren prefers getting lost in music and allowing the melodies to fuel her creativity. She typically carries at least 2 pairs with her (in case she blows out a speaker), which will explain why you may be ignored if you yell her name from across the street. (It’s not you, it’s because she can’t hear anymore.)

Evan Wiegand

Senior Graphic & Interactive Media Designer

Whether retooling a website or rebuilding a carburetor, Evan excels at problem-solving and tackling complex challenges. He is committed to each and every design project that comes his way, and takes a “one-step-at-a-time” approach to its research and development—much like he did when he backpacked more than 75 miles through the rustic landscape of New Mexico. If he ever drops off the grid, the first place we will look for him will be on some jungle expedition, searching for undiscovered ancient ruins.

Alter Ego: Backwoods Adventurer. In his spare time, Evan designs and builds new features into his homemade tiny camp trailer and searches for new places to spark up a campfire with family and friends.

Moose

Pawfessional

Sprightly. Flirtatious. Enormous. Bernese. Moose, the most recent addition to the LTD family, reminds us (sometimes very forcefully) to take a break and just let loose. We knew from her obnoxiously oversized puppy feet that she would be on a rocket trajectory to 100+lbs, and at points along the way the two halves of her body have alternated their growth spurts to yield out-of-sync proportions. Nonetheless, she’s a loving sweetheart who is always happy to jump up on your shoulders and waltz you down the hallway.

Alter Ego: Doofy. You can find Doofy sprawled out on the floor like a rug, legs bent in illogical fashion, tongue stuck to the floor, with a big ol’ grin. She will literally bend over backwards (waaayyy backwards) to get your attention, which has caused her to suffer an inelegant tumble or two.

Maggie

Pawfessional

Stoic. Dignified. Majestic. Maggie, though herself a canine, has always preferred the company of human beings. Thriving on order and routine and often expressing reluctance to color outside the lines, she’s more interested in ‘intensely observing’ animals than ‘chasing’ them. She does enjoy a good pat-down and will sit as still as one of Frederick’s bronze dog statues during the procedure.

Alter Ego: Margaret. When called by her full name, Maggie’s personality traits remain the same, apart from a notable uptick in obedience and walking speed.

Our Studio

Our home base, a renovated warehouse in downtown Frederick, Maryland, is an inspiring space—with open shared areas to spark ideas and encourage collaboration, and quiet nooks for when we need to hunker down and focus independently.
